- Pffffft. PURE NJS tuneage covering the era! I played this on a rainy day & night bender (Sunday 9-20-21) and it was spot on. DJs & OGs will lol and ave a laid-back ride. The chopped up vocals, high hat snares, and 808 kick drums are emphasized staples. This is how it was on rainy nights in our early 20s. If you really didn't feel like going out or could hustle a hottie in your Rolodex to come over for a booty call, this is what we did/try to do. The "relax & chill" vibez of the 1989-1994 R&B/Hip-Hop are solidified ere OGs.
